Further Guild Hall Upgrades
You know how most guild halls have a big closed off castle in the front, i think that the doors should be opened. There should be special rooms or bedrooms for officers and the leader that only the owner of that room can go in. Each room should have a list of items for purchase to customize it, i.e-rugs, bed, shelves, tables, chairs, bed screens, curtains for a window(if any), fireplace. And the owner of that room can choose if he wants to bring another person into the room, similar to ferrying for deep or urgoz. there should be a special meeting hall for guild meetings and a dining hall sort of room. The guild lord should have two new NPCs for purchase-#1-(20 platinum)a Chef-like person for the mess hall that sells various forms of alchahol and ale-#2-(5 platinum)a Doorman who controls who can come in, as in you talk to the person and select enter, guild guests would not be allowed in. Of course, this new update should be added as a purchase when you go to buy a hall, in which you simply go to the explorable version of the hall you have and trade in another sigil for the purchase. Tell me what you think.

God.. so many memorys. I'ma cry tonight
lol okay this is what me and my first guild did. We had the 'winter wonderland' hall or that's what we called it, and we just had members run through and choose places for us to live. lol. I remember my friend 'sythe' had the cave that held the opposing team, I had the flag holder, and our leader had the big place where our team spawned. During that time all of us just fought through our rooms. Like one of us would just randomly go to the hall and yell something like 'KRISTAL IM IN YOUR ROOM!!!' or, 'WHAT THE HELL IS A THONG DOING IN HERE SYTHE?' Instantly there would be people 'pretend-smacking' you and yelling 'GTFO GTFO I OWN JOO!' I wont say what GTFO means because it's fairly innapropiate.
Wait, nvm I had the boat, and my friend had the barrel that you could get into on the boat. We always said 'teh barrel' for that, and we always were talking about a disgusting circular place with stuff dripping off the sides, becuase this dude was a pervert.
Gah, those were the times. And because those were the times I have to sign this.

I'd recommend allowing an option at the Guild Master to change the skin of your hall for 100k or some such.
We bought our guild hall well before Factions and I'm guessing there are all sorts of new skins available. Our current hall is fully upgraded so simply starting a new guild would be nonsensicle.
Another good option might be a Mage Teleporter. You click on him and he gives you an option of the various maps you've explored (Kryta, Cantha, Elona, etc...) and you can teleport your entire party to said place (provided they have it on their map as well). That would save the time of jumping to your last location (or Komadon, Kaineng, or LA) and then jumping to your final location.
Cartographer would also be nice. You go to the cartographer and pay a fee (say 50k per character) and that character suddenly has access to the same maps as your other characters that have already paid said fee. Perhaps make this service only available to 'ascended' characters.

the bedrooms is a bad idea. i would like to see a mission control room where you can bring out diffrent arena maps for discussion especially if it brought up just a map when you went in that could be drawn on and some little pins to mark areas. the alcohol merchant would be awesome though

uhhhh...maybe i'm misunderstanding but you can change your guild hall any time. Just go to the guy where you buy the guild halls and give him another sigil for the hall you want....You dont have to keep the same hall.

You know what really needs to be added to GW. Horses.
A Stable in the GH to Race our Horses. None in PVE. And a Dog. Dogs too. Maybe monkeys to ride the dogs...yes.

I would definitely like to see some more ways to customize your own guild hall. I kind of like the idea of having an area just for guild members but not guests or somesuchlike. An inn would have been fun for going for the drunkard title, a few of you buying rounds or choosing from different types of acohol for fun.
But then again I can see people getting all outraged and saying it is promoting underage drinking etc.
Never hear people complaining about butterbeer in Harry Potter though!

Go buy a new hall for 7k. Please post in YOUR OWN thread.

What does thisd add to the game other than fancyness?
Nothing
What do you expect people to do when most people beat the campaign in a week, get max armor in under a day, get sick of pvp, get sick of farming for nothing? A little imagination should be used when reading this idea
It would make it all Sims like.. And I don't like Sims I burn them...
Obviously you have never played the Sims or Guild Wars so
The bottom line, if Runescape can have player houses, Guild Wars should have customizeabled halls

I like the idea of an extended guild hall area for guild meetings and such. BUt I don't agree with the customizable room and what not.

I dont know where to start with that rediculous statement.
THIS ISNT RUNESCAPE OR WOW OR ANY OTHER GAME!
Its Guild Wars dont compare. If you want a bedroom go play those other games.

First, this has been brought up and discussed at LEAST a couple times before, probably many more.
I can only see this happening if Anet gets bored and has nothing else to add to the game (which will be never). This adds NOTHING to the game's functionality, so what's the incentive for Anet to add it? If they suddenly start catering to roleplayers, then this addition might be made... otherwise I wouldn't count on it.
